UKSCE and Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College Signing Cooperation Agreement for Railway Talents

On June 25, Skills Belt and Road International Talent Hub Programme Gearing Up Workshop was held at the British embassy in Beijing. It was attended by Chen Feng, director of National Center for Schooling Development Programme, Dame Barbara Woodward, British ambassador to China, and Wang Peng, deputy mayor of Zhengzhou.

The conference was held by UK Sectors Center of Excellence (UKSCE), with the support of National Center for Schooling Development Programme of China and Education and Skill Center of the UK’s Department for International Trade. At the conference, UKSCE and UK’s National Skills Academy for Rail signed a cooperation agreement to establish China-UK Rail (Zhengzhou) Research Institute. Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College became a member of the China-UK International Talent Hub Committee. Kong Fanshi, president of the college, was appointed a committee member.

China-UK International Talent Hub was officially launched at this conference. UKSCE and Zhengzhou municipal government joint hands and established Zhengzhou-UK Center, promoting vocational education based on China’s vocational education institutions.
